Description

Freshly muddled strawberries mingle with tequila and lime in this lively pitcher cocktail, boasting a perfect balance of sweetness and tang that tingles on the tongue.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberries sliced
  • 1 cup tequila blanco
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 6 slices lime
  • 6 strawberries

Instructions

  1. Place strawberries in a large pitcher and gently muddle to release juices.
  2. Pour in tequila blanco, orange liqueur, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup then stir to combine.
  3. Add ice cubes to the pitcher and stir gently until well chilled.
  4. To rim glasses, rub a lime slice around the edge and dip into kosher salt.
  5. Pour the margarita mixture into prepared glasses.
  6. Garnish each glass with a strawberry and a lime slice before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of simple syrup to taste for preferred sweetness.
  • Frozen strawberries can be used in place of fresh if needed.
  • Agave syrup may substitute simple syrup for a different flavor profile.
  • Best served immediately but can be chilled for up to 2 hours before serving.
