Description

Silky white chocolate forms a creamy canvas dotted with ruby freeze-dried strawberries and crunchy banana chips, finished with a hint of sea salt. Each handful bursts with sweet, tangy fruit flavor and a satisfying snap.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams white chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 30 grams freeze-dried strawberries
  • 30 grams freeze-dried banana chips
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Chop the white chocolate into uniform pieces and place in a heatproof bowl with the coconut oil.
  3. Melt the chocolate and oil together over a double boiler or in 20-second bursts in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
  4. Pour the melted mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly to about 5 mm thickness using a spatula.
  5. Immediately sprinkle the freeze-dried strawberries and banana chips evenly over the chocolate, then finish with a light dusting of sea salt.
  6. Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and chill for 20–30 minutes until the bark is fully set.
  7. Once firm, remove from the freezer and break the bark into irregular pieces with your hands or a knife.

Notes

  • You can substitute dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
  • Store the bark in an airtight container in the freezer to maintain crispness.
  • Experiment with other freeze-dried fruits or nuts for variety.
  • Ensure all utensils and parchment are completely dry to prevent moisture.
