Description

Layers of buttery Oreo crumbs, sweet vanilla ice cream swirled with crunchy cookie pieces, and fluffy whipped cream come together in a creamy, icy slice that melts on your tongue.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams Oreo cookies crushed
  • 60 grams unsalted butter melted
  • 1 liter vanilla ice cream softened
  • 200 grams Oreo cookies chopped
  • 250 milliliters heavy cream cold
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place crushed Oreo cookies in a bowl and stir in melted butter until evenly combined.
  2. Press mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust and freeze for at least 15 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine softened vanilla ice cream with chopped Oreo cookies until evenly distributed.
  4. Spread the ice cream mixture over the frozen crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Freeze the cake for at least 1 hour to firm up the ice cream layer.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk cold heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  7. Spread the whipped cream over the ice cream layer and decorate with additional Oreo pieces if desired.
  8. Freeze the assembled cake for at least 4 hours or overnight before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use regular Oreo cookies for best flavor and texture
  • For cleaner slices, dip a sharp knife in hot water and wipe between cuts
  • Allow ice cream to soften at room temperature for about 10 minutes before mixing
  • Store the cake in the freezer for up to two weeks covered in plastic wrap or an airtight container
