Description

Juicy watermelon ‘fries’ dressed in lime-honey glaze, sprinkled with chili and mint, then chilled for a frosty, flavor-packed bite that awakens the senses.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups watermelon
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh mint

Instructions

  1. Cut the watermelon into fry shapes about 1 inch thick.
  2. In a small bowl whisk together the lime juice honey and salt.
  3. Place the watermelon fries in a large bowl and drizzle with the lime mixture.
  4. Sprinkle the chili powder and chopped mint evenly over the fries.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use seedless watermelon for easier cutting and eating
  • Adjust the amount of chili powder for desired spice level
  • Drizzling honey can be omitted for a sugar-free option
  • Best served cold and fresh within an hour of preparation
