Description

Enjoy plump shrimp mingling with garlicky olive oil, smoky paprika, and fresh lemon, all steamed in a foil packet on the grill. The foil locks in juices and aroma, releasing a burst of savory, citrus-kissed flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl combine shrimp olive oil garlic paprika salt and pepper.
  3. Place a large sheet of foil on a flat surface.
  4. Arrange lemon slices on the foil and spoon the shrimp mixture on top.
  5. Fold the foil into a sealed packet leaving a small vent for steam.
  6. Place the foil packet on the grill and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  7. Carefully open the foil packet and sprinkle parsley over the shrimp.
  8. Serve the shrimp directly from the foil or transfer to a serving plate.

Notes

  • Use fresh or frozen shrimp that have been thawed thoroughly
  • Make sure to seal the foil packet well to retain steam and flavor
  • Adjust cooking time slightly for larger or smaller shrimp
  • Serve with crusty bread or over rice for a complete meal
