Description

Juicy shrimp sizzle in a buttery garlic bath, then get smothered in stretchy mozzarella and sharp Parmesan. Red pepper flakes add warmth, while chopped parsley brings a fresh pop. Ready in minutes, it’s comfort on a plate.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper and add them to the skillet.
  4. Cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan evenly over the cooked shrimp.
  6. Cover the skillet and let the cheese melt for 1–2 minutes.
  7. Remove the skillet from heat and garnish with chopped parsley.
  8. Serve hot with crusty bread or over pasta.

Notes

  • Use fresh shrimp for best flavor and texture
  • Adjust red pepper flakes to control the level of heat
  • Serve immediately to enjoy the cheese at its gooey best
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days
